Delete your YouGo account

1. In the app (fastest)

Open YouGo → Profile → Information → Delete account → Request deletion. You can add a reason (optional).

2. Without the app

Send an email to geral@mzdeal.co.mz with the subject “Delete YouGo account” and the account’s phone number. To confirm the account is yours, we may ask you to reply from that number on WhatsApp.

3. What we delete

Name, phone number, email, photo, saved places, trip and delivery history, chat messages, ratings and, for drivers, identity-verification documents and photos.

4. What we keep (and for how long)

Only what the law requires: financial and tax records (receipts, invoices, payments and top-ups), for the period required by Mozambican law. These records are locked and not used for anything else.

5. Timeline and balance

We handle the request within 30 days. Drivers: unused topped-up balance is refunded on request, without bonuses.
